Hello there! I’m Hannah – the rookie wife.
I’m a newly-wedded wife loving life with my sweet man in Small Town, Arizona. One of my favorite things to do is curl up in our cozy apartment and share my life with you all. Here you can follow along on my journey of trying to figure out how this wife thing works, while embracing my own passions and hobbies. I find that when I take time to do what I love, I have more of myself to give and am a happier, better wife.
I love making a house into a home and am learning how to homemake on a budget. If your husband is anything like mine, one of his love languages may be through is stomach. Luckily for me, I love spending time in the kitchen and getting creative with dinner. Luckily for you, I share all my favorite recipes with you here! We’re all about comfort food over here, but eating healthy is also a big priority for us. My husband and I both love fitness and are regular gym goers, so we try to be conscious about what we are putting into our bodies to keep them in the best shape!
On top of being a full time wife and homemaker, I am also a full time nursing student. I have a passion for helping people when they can’t help themselves. The woman’s body amazes me and childbirth is beyond me. I dream of being a nurse in the labor & delivery room or maybe even a midwife. We can just add that the list of other things I’m still trying to figure out!
And above all, I’m a woman. I’m a woman trying to do her best at everything but know that I can’t do it all. I’m working on making my little corner of the world a better place. I’m learning to be kinder, more loving, and more intent. I find my worth in my knowledge that I am a beloved daughter of a Heavenly King. I know I am capable of much but still need a push and shove every once in awhile. I’m here to share encouragement and inspiration and give a little support to other women trying to figure it all out too.
So let’s be friends as we figure out our roles in this world together. And of course, figure out what to do with these things we call our husbands.
